Peter J. Morgan is executive vice president of Zions Bank’s Specialty Banking Division, responsible for Zions Auto Dealer Lending, Practice Pathways, National Real Estate, and Zions Agricultural Finance. These lending groups focus on nationwide commercial lending opportunities for franchised auto dealers, medical professionals, owner-occupied small business real estate, and farmers and ranchers.
Morgan has worked at Zions Bank since 1983, including five years with Zions Bancorporation affiliate National Bank of Arizona in Phoenix. Morgan is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School, Leadership Utah, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Utah and a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University.
He has served on a variety of boards of directors, including University of Utah’s Utah Presents, Utah Shakespearean Festival, Salt Lake City Housing Trust Fund, Mountain West Small Business Finance (CDC), National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders, Mesa-AZ Visitors and Conventions Bureau and the Mesa YMCA.
Morgan is married with four children, speaks Japanese, and enjoys skiing fast, sailing, cycling, and hiking – and participating in an occasional Ironman race or triathlon.
